Are your third party solutions ready for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015?

MS CRM 2013 With the recent release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015, you may be wondering what you need to do to prepare for an upgrade. If you’re using Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, you should have already received a notification from Microsoft regarding the scheduling of your online upgrade. If you’re using Microsoft Dynamics CRM On Premise, scheduling and planning for your upgrade is entirely up to you. Plus, if you’re a brand new Microsoft Dynamics 2015 customer in either the cloud or on premise, your application will be set up as a 2015 deployment.

Regardless of whether you are on premise or in the cloud, one of the most important things to consider when planning your upgrade is understanding whether any third-party add-ons will still function in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015. Many ISV’s are still in the process of validating their products in 2015. Here’s a list of a few key players and their 2015 compatibility updates:

ClickDimensions: Testing is being finalized, and a separate solution will be released for 2015. The current release date is planned for January 25, 2015. Visit the ClickDimensions blog for additional details: http://blog.clickdimensions.com/2015/01/sneak-preview-january-release.html

InsideView: InsideView is now compatible with both Online and On Premise deployments of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015. Customers using MSCRM 2015 Online should install the 3.4 Solution Package which contains a new vertical user interface. On Premise customers should install the 3.2 Solution Package which contains the more familiar horizontal user interface. Activity Tools is available for On Premise 2015 deployments. AttachmentExtractor, DocumentsCorePack, GroupCalendar, PowerSearch, SmartBar and TelephoneIntegration are all available now for 2015 deployments.
