This past week our CRM team attended the annual Microsoft Convergence event in Houson. I thought I would share some information from this event.
Attendance was up significantly this year with over 10,000 attendees. I personally see this as a positive sign of businesses relaxing the travel budget and increased interest in IT projects this year. The event was excellent as usual. Keynotes by Colin Powell and key Microsoft execs energized attendees.
There were several informative CRM focused sessions including the product roadmap session where several key things were announced:
Update R8 is rolling out now and includes some great functionality including the new mobile access, cross browser support and social enhancements (see our past article). R9 will roll out in Q4 and will include improved social media integrations and enhanced integration with Office 365.
Stay tuned for webinars on new functionality for Microsoft CRM.
