Dynamics 365 Customer Service 2020 Wave 2 is coming!

Dynamics 365 Customer Service 2020 Wave 2 is coming this October and with it, a plethora of updates and improvements.  Here are some important changes coming to your Dynamics Online environment soon:

Legacy to Unified Interface Service Scheduling Migration

Still using the legacy service schedule?  This update will automatically migrate service scheduling to the new UI experience.  The migration happens automatically, behind the scenes, and with no impact on customer experience.  For more details on the new service scheduling functionality, check out this link.

Automatic Record Creation Activity Monitoring

It’s been a challenge to use and monitor the success and failure rates of Record Creation and Update rules.  This update adds a new monitoring system to monitor the status and health of your rules.  For more information, click here.

Migration tools for Automatic Record Creation and SLAs

Modern Automatic Record Creation rules and SLAs have been moved to Power Automate.  Still using the legacy version of these features?  This update will provide tools to migrate your current Automatic Record Creation rules and SLAs to the Power Platform.  There has not been an official deprecation date for these features yet.  But it’s likely that these will be sunset sooner rather than later.  Check out this documentation to get a jump start on moving off of the legacy features.
