Microsoft CRM Online Update (Polaris) hitting in December

Microsoft recently announced that its next service update for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online will be released in December 2012. To take full advantage of the new features provided by this release, we encourage you to upgrade to a modern browser that takes advantage of improved features, expanded internet standards support and security.

Starting in December, support for Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) will no longer be offered for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.

For the best experience on Windows, we recommend Windows XP customers upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 available for download for free here. Vista customers should ensure they have upgraded to Internet Explorer 9 available for download for free here.

If you are not using Windows or prefer a different browser, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online also supports the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome (for Windows) Download
  • Mozilla Firefox (for Window and Mac latest) Download
  • Safari latest for Mac OS X Download

In addition to browser support the december update (codenamed Polaris) will feature significant updates to the user interface as well as many other powerful new features. We blogged about this last month, click here for the article.
